South Australian Highlights
- On 19 May, the Minister for Mental Health and Substance Jane Lomax-Smith launched Hepatitis Awareness Week in South Australia as well as the South Australian Hepatitis C Action Plan. The launch was followed by a Love Your Liver lunch featuring healthy liver friendly foods.
- Over 6000 households in various will receive information about hepatitis from volunteers distributing bookmarks (see next story) down their streets and in their neighbourhoods.

Hepatitis information posters will be on display at hospitals, public libraries and community centres.

Education sessions and a healthy liver lunch was held at The Woolshed on 19 May.

New hepatitis C information booklet in Vietnamese published. This was the result of the combined efforts of the Council and the Vietnamese Community of Australia SA Chapter. The booklet was launched on Friday 22 May
- DASSA workshop on working with hepatitis C was held on 22 May, followed by a Love Your Liver lunch.
