How do I enter?

To enter this competition, download, print and cut out one of the pictures of O’liver below. If you like you can mount O'liver on card to hold it up. Now take O'liver on an adventure – with you, family, friends or colleagues – photograph and submit.

You can do this digitally if you like but we prefer it if you can take O’liver on a real adventure.

How do I submit my picture?

Once you've taken (or made) your picture, send it via email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by regular mail to Reply Paid 782, Kent Town BC, SA 5071. Don't forget to include your name, address, email and phone number.

Entries close on the 31 July 2011, so be sure to have your picture in by then.

First prize: High Definition video camera

Second prize: $50 voucher

Third prize: $25 voucher

 

Eligibility
This competition is open to all SA residents and SA based organisations. Staff and family members of HCCSA and its funding body HHPP are ineligible for the competition, but may still send in non-competing photographs.

Judging
Judging will be based on ideas - originality, creativity, humour - and execution. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I modify O’liver?
No. There will be a few pictures from which you can choose.

Can I colour in O'liver?
Yes

I don't have photo editing software how can I take O'liver to exotic locations?
Try placing the cut out on a magazine or calendar picture, the computer or TV screen and photographing that! See example here.

I don’t live in SA, can I enter?
You can send in your pictures for our gallery but you won't be eligible for the competition.

I am ineligible for the competition, can I submit a photo and not enter the contest?
Yes.
